Scope of Work:

As a Client Care Representative at the Guyana Office for Investment, you will be the first point of contact for investors and exporters seeking assistance. Your role is pivotal in providing exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, and facilitating the investment and export processes. You will work closely with various departments within the Guyana Office for Investment and external stakeholders to ensure a seamless experience for our clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary contact for investors and exporters, providing timely and accurate information.
  • Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person meetings, ensuring a high level of professionalism and courtesy.
  • Provide clients with comprehensive summaries of steps necessary to commence business operations in Guyana and the procedure to apply for concession.
  • Inform clients about available incentives and regulations relevant to their sectors of interest.
  • Assist clients throughout the investment and export processes, liaising with government agencies and other stakeholders as needed.
  • Assist with the development of profiles on investment opportunities for investment purposes.
  • Address and resolve client complaints and concerns promptly, escalating issues to appropriate departments when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Work closely with internal teams to coordinate joint venture efforts between local and overseas interests.
  • Advise management on client feedback and suggest improvements to enhance service delivery.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, client relations, or a related role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of Guyana’s investment landscape and regulatory environment is an asset.
