Leanna Damond currently holds the position of Snr. Investment Officer. With 11 years experience in investment promotion and facilitation and a combined 9 years in banking, Ms. Damond worked 4 years as Investment Manager and Senior Supervisor with the Hand-in-Hand Trust Corporation Inc. and 11 years as Investment Officer with the Guyana Office for Investment.
Ms. Damond possesses knowledge of all the sectors, provides facilitation support to the activities of the Investment Promotion and Facilitation Department including opportunities for local and foreign investors and the development, coordination and implementation of investment promotion, facilitation, programs and policies.

As Program Assistant / Consultant – Management Sciences for Health (MSH) USAID/GHARP Project, Ms. Damond managed the operation of administrative efforts for the MSH subcontract on the GHARP project by providing administrative leadership and support for the subcontract in collaboration with the prime contractor’s finance and administrative team.
She also coordinated activities for the Leadership Development Program in Guyana and other MSH-led initiatives, compiled and submitted Monitoring & Evaluation reports on activities including monthly Technical Assistance report and provided support to the Leadership Development Program team in regards to setting up coaching and mentoring sessions.
