Our process of manufacturing ISO22000:2005 quality White Rice begins with the removal of the husk, bran and germ. This alters the flavor, texture and appearance of the rice. Then, during the milling process, the rice is polished which results in the kernel having a bright, white and shiny appearance. Since white rice is resistant to oxidation, removing the bran layers helps to prevent spoilage and increase its cooking quality, hence, its longer shelf life. Karibee White Rice is: gluten free, rich in healthy, safe carbohydrates, a great source of energy, low in sodium, and has zero cholesterol.

As with all our products, Karibee brown rice is produced according to standards set by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). Our Brown Rice production involves the hull of the paddy kernel being removed the least damaging process to its nutritional value. Considered a whole grain, Karibee Brown Rice contains antioxidants, B vitamins, protein, minerals, healthy fats, carbohydrates, and minerals. Brown Rice has almost 4 times as much of the mineral magnesium to that of other rice grains, important for healthy bones and teeth and also helping regulate blood glucose levels and blood pressure. The fiber in brown rice helps to lower cholesterol, moves waste through the digestive tract, and promotes fullness. Brown rice is also considered a low glycemic index food.
